This multi-layered textile collage has been created using a combination of handprinted, reclaimed fabrics, needle-felted wool fibres along with silk and ribbon offcuts that have been free machine embroidered onto a handpainted wool felt background.
To add texture, the work has been embellished with hand embroidered wool yarn using simple stitches. Straight stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch and lots of French knots with a little free styling in places.
Finally the artwork has been stretched over a canvas to finish.
This artwork is not framed. It has D rings and cord attached. Ready to hang.
